It always surprises me (although I guess it really shouldn't) when I encounted real , deep and violent rascism. It shouldn't; I know it's still out there, but I'm always so taken aback by it.
The idea that some crazed anti- semite could walk into the Holocaust Muesuem, blocks away from the white house and start firing is....insane.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the security guard that was killed...
